The Grace Medical Center (GMC) is a non-profit social hospital located in Baltimore, Maryland, established in 1909, making it one of the oldest hospitals (Kohan, 2019) in the city. With 110-bed capacity and 700 employees, GMC works in an area with significant crime rates and provides traditional services such as emergency and radiology. Recently, it expanded its services to include telemedicine and home health to reach more patients (Elbows, 2019). GMC’s directional strategies prefer to offer high quality care to all patients. The statement of the commission emphasizes the commitment to quality care and community service, while the declaration of vision is aimed at leading in social health services (Kohan, 2019). The organization’s s.p.i.i.t emphasizes the honorary service, patient focus, integrity, honor, innovation and teamwork (Cohn, 2019). A revised assignment and vision statement fits GMC’s new directional strategies will prefer quality care distribution and community service. The revised assignment emphasizes the inhabitants of Baltimore to provide worthy, culturally sensitive and compassionate care for the citizens. The purpose of the declaration of vision is to become a large social hospital in Baltimore for GMC. Honor states emphasize partnerships, respect and trust in patients and families. Quen (2018) suggests that a declaration of commission should capture the specific purpose of an organization, while the declaration of vision gives a mental picture of its future status. Price represents the principles careful by the organization.

 Identifying Gaps 

The current GMC strategies focus on optimal patient care and community engagement through programs such as health fairs and workshops. However, infrastructural boundaries prevents organizational success. According to TOWS Matrix, three intervals interfere with the GMC directional strategies. The first two holes are about existing strategies and provide insufficient money for infrastructure. GMC facilities, including in -posroma and department, lack the necessary functionality for optimal care (Bibe et al., 2018). The solutions include an increase in funds through financial participation and financing campaigns. The third interior is related to technology integration in welfare. GMC lacks integrated equipment to meet the soul values, prevent optimal distribution of care (Trish et al., 2017). Underfunding of violence prohibits the upgrading of diagnostic and treatment technology (Manian and Davis, 2018).

Strategic Goal and Direction Strategies Analysis 

GMC strategies are consistent with their internal culture and external environment, which focuses on community engagement and improves goodness. However, internal factors such as infrastructure and storage of employees are ignored. Singh and Shah (2018) emphasize the importance of balanced internal and external factors for organizational success.

Proposal of Changes

In order to solve structural and strategic challenges, GMC must consider changing its executive management for individuals invested in external development and internal improvement (Alsami and Alsoli, 2018). Leaders for forward penetration can drive innovation and organizational development.

 Conclusion 

Assignments, vision and value statements direct the direction of an organization. Without clarity in these statements, directional strategies become unacceptable. GMC must ensure adaptation between its assignments, vision and strategies for organizational success (Serino, 2019).
