Training the nurses and the community in technological intervention in diabetes management is essential for the success of the program. This measure represents an excellent opportunity for nurses and patients to grow their knowledge base and improve their job skills to become more effective in the community. Despite the cost of training for the community and nurses, the return on investment is immense if it is consistent. Community training programs help improve the knowledge and skills of employees to match the various changes in healthcare (Fernandez et al., 2019). These improvements will positively affect the productivity of nurses, which can reduce problems related to the medical administration of diabetic patients. Training programs can also prepare the stakeholders to use modern technology that limits errors.
The proposed technological intervention in managing diabetes will equip healthcare professionals with modern skills in managing diabetes among patients. The training needs assessment process allows the organization to identify any gaps in its current training society and use the interest of the community in developing the desired change (Fernandez et al., 2019). These gaps should be analyzed, prioritized, and turned into the organization’s training objectives. The ultimate goal is to bridge the gap of poor diabetes management in the community.
It is also important to ensure that managers, trainers, and mentors deliver a consistent message during on-the-program training. Again, it is important to keep an eye out for obvious signs of a skills gap: poor performance reviews or employee incident reports, new technology or software adoptions, and staffing changes are all indicators of a gap needing to be addressed (Nilsen et al., 2020) These measures will ensure that the community learns about the new technology used in managing diabetes and the effect of the new technology in the future health of the community.
A Grant Proposal
The cost of the intervention might be high but does not level with its benefits for patients. While there are patients who can afford the technology in the community, many people would depend on the program’s funding from donations and other well-wishers. The budget for planned intervention will include various costs, as in the Table below.
Table 1
Platform | Budget |
Acquiring technology | $14000 |
Software | $3000 |
Hardware | $ 2500 |
Nurse Training | $ 15000 |
Community Training | $25000 |
TOTAL | $59500 |

Conclusion
The successful implementation of the proposed community intervention relies on various parameters that focus on ensuring its success. The stakeholders, design, and addressing the potential barriers are clear paths that focus on meeting the desired success of a project. The increased focus on the management on the implementation would also aid in meeting the desired outcome.
